This policy explains what personal information Yasmina Murphy collects about you and your child, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Explicit consent for health information. The pre-call questionnaire asks you to tick a box agreeing that we can use your child's health information to give advice. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, but we may then be unable to continue giving tailored support.

Information about your child. You provide it as their parent or carer. We use it only to support your family and never for marketing.

We do not sell your information or use it for automated decision-making.

3. Who we share it with, and how long we keep it

We share information only with the services we use to run the business, under contracts that protect it:

Some of these providers store data in the USA. Where they do, transfers are protected by the UK–US Data Bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we believe a child is at risk of serious harm, in line with safeguarding duties.

How long we keep it

  • Questionnaire, call notes and health information: 6 years after your package ends, then deleted.
  • WhatsApp messages: deleted from our device 12 months after your package ends (your own copy stays with you).
  • Payment and financial records: 6 years, as required by HMRC.
  • Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.

4. Your rights, cookies and complaints

You can ask us to: see a copy of your information; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; move it to another provider; or withdraw consent. Email enquires@yasminamurphy.com and we will reply within one month. There is no charge.

Cookies. Our website uses essential cookies to work, and analytics and advertising cookies (such as Meta Pixel and Google Analytics) only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.

Security. Access to your information is limited to Yasmina, protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. Devices used for WhatsApp support are passcode-locked.

Changes. We will post any updates here and change the date at the top.

Complaints. Please contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
