YASMINA MURPHY

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 29 September 2026

These terms apply when you buy Start Right, Yasmina Murphy's 1:1 introducing solids support package. By completing checkout you agree to them, so please read them before you pay.

1. About us

1.1 The services are provided by NutriEssence Ltd, trading as Yasmina Murphy ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16307894).

1.2 Yasmina Murphy is a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr, registration number 28247) on the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists.

1.3 Contact us at enquires@yasminamurphy.com. For support during your package, use the WhatsApp number you receive after purchase.

1.4 In these terms, "you" means the parent or carer who buys a package, and "your child" means the child the support relates to.

2. The services

2.1 Start Right, for babies aged around 5 months to 1 year, includes:

  • A pre-call questionnaire you complete before your call, so we can prepare advice for your family.
  • One 60-minute 1:1 consultation with Yasmina by Zoom.
  • Six months of 1:1 WhatsApp support, starting on the date of your consultation.

2.2 WhatsApp support hours. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time, excluding UK bank holidays. We reply within one working day at the latest. Messages sent outside these hours are answered on the next working day. Support never stops completely. During holidays or planned time away, replies may be slower, and we will give you at least 7 days' notice.

2.3 What support covers. You can ask about anything relating to your child's nutrition and feeding: what and how to feed, introducing allergens, textures, fussy eating, portions, lunchboxes, eating out, shopping and food labels. Support is for the one child (or twins or siblings of the same age group) named in your questionnaire.

2.4 Not medical advice. Our services are nutrition education and support. They are not a medical service and do not replace your GP, health visitor, paediatrician, dietitian or other healthcare professional. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, including allergies, faltering growth or eating disorders. Where a concern needs medical input, we will tell you and suggest who to contact.

2.5 Emergencies. WhatsApp support is not an emergency service. If your child is choking, has signs of a serious allergic reaction (such as swelling of the face or tongue, difficulty breathing or collapse) or is otherwise unwell, call 999 immediately. For urgent non-emergency advice, call NHS 111.

2.6 Resources. Any guides, recipes or materials we share are for your personal, non-commercial use and may not be copied or shared outside your household.

3. Price, payment and booking

3.1 The price is shown on the sales page at the time you buy (currently £247, one payment, including any VAT that applies). Future price changes do not affect a package you have already bought.

3.2 Payment is taken securely by Stripe at checkout. Your contract with us starts when your payment is confirmed.

3.3 After payment you will be shown how to book your consultation and complete your questionnaire. Please book your call within 30 days of purchase and complete the questionnaire at least 48 hours before it, so Yasmina can prepare.

3.4 Rescheduling. You can reschedule once, free of charge, with at least 24 hours' notice. If you miss the call without notice, we will try to offer one further slot, but we cannot guarantee it. If we need to reschedule, we will offer you a new time as soon as possible.

3.5 Your six months of WhatsApp support start on the date of your consultation. If you have not booked a call within 30 days of purchase, support will start on day 31 so that it is not held open indefinitely.

4. Cancellation and our guarantee

4.1 Your 14-day right to cancel. As a UK consumer buying online, you can cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. Email enquires@yasminamurphy.com or message us on WhatsApp.

4.2 If you ask us to start within those 14 days (for example by booking your consultation inside that period), you agree that if you then cancel, we may deduct a fair amount for the services already provided. We treat the consultation as £150 of the package value, and the remaining WhatsApp support as the balance, pro rata. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days.

4.3 Our 6-month satisfaction guarantee. If, at the end of your six months, you do not feel you got everything you wanted from the package, we will refund you in full, provided you took full part. Full participation means you:

  • completed the pre-call questionnaire before your consultation;
  • attended your 60-minute consultation; and
  • used your WhatsApp support during the six months, at least once in each month.

4.4 To claim, email enquires@yasminamurphy.com within 14 days after your six months end, briefly telling us what you hoped to get and did not. We will refund within 14 days of your claim. The guarantee is one per family and does not affect your legal rights.

4.5 Ending early for misuse. We may end a package with notice if you are abusive or threatening, or share access with people outside your household. In that case we will refund any unused part of the package unless the reason was serious misconduct.

5. Responsibilities, liability and the legal bits

5.1 Your responsibilities. Please give accurate information about your child, including any diagnosed conditions, allergies, medication and professional advice already received, and tell us if anything changes. You remain responsible for your child's care and for decisions about their diet.

5.2 Our responsibilities. We will provide the services with reasonable care and skill, using evidence-based guidance in line with current UK recommendations.

5.3 Liability. We are not responsible for outcomes that result from information you did not share, advice not followed, or advice from other professionals. Our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.

5.4 Third-party platforms. We use Zoom, WhatsApp and Stripe to deliver the services. We are not responsible for outages or changes on those platforms, but will offer an alternative (such as a phone call) where one fails.

5.5 Your data. How we use your and your child's information is set out in our separate Privacy Policy.

5.6 Complaints. If you are unhappy, email enquires@yasminamurphy.com and we will respond within 5 working days.

5.7 Changes. We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in force when you bought apply to your package.

5.8 Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
